Flying: With the current state of the airlines industry flying puppies as unaccompanied cargo is rarely an option but sometimes an airline is still willing to do this.
Flying as "luggage" with someone who is on the flight is sometimes an option.
Flying as a carry on under the seat is not an option because my puppies are too big when they are the minimum 8 weeks old.
Saturdays: Please note- Until further notice Saturdays are automatically reserved for Casper and Douglas to the East, unless there are no flying puppies. Saturday is the only day most weeks that I can fly puppies out of the Casper Airport. Most of the year I do not have the time during my work week for the airport. If there are no flying puppies for a particular Saturday then it will become available for meeting families in another direction. Saturdays are often more flexible in the summer when flying puppies Monday through Friday becomes more of an option. Please bear this in mind if you would like me to meet you part way. Thank you.
Cross Country Driving: People who only drive a couple of pets at a time across country are my most trusted option currently. But they are not cheap.
They can be found on face book, citizen shipper and similar sites. Please let me know if you would like me to help you get a quote.
Driving - Delivery Options for my own Collie and Pyr puppies.
Depending on road and weather conditions: During the school year weekends are my only travel options, during the summer weekdays become an option.
I can drive up to 150 miles to meet people for gasoline $. This includes the following Wyoming towns:
$ below are for me to drive when gasoline is $3-4 a gallon along my route.
$ 85 To the South: Rock Springs & Rawlins on I80
$ 65 To the North: Worland, WY
$ 85 To the North: Cody and Greybull
$ 55 To the West: Dubois, WY
$ 100 To the West: Jackson/Jackson Hole
$ 75 To the East: Casper on I25
$100 To the East: Douglas on I25
Sometimes I have the time to drive a bit farther.
Occaisionally I can also deliver to a show I am attending.

Driving Tips:
1. Bring a travel crate, just in case. Or buy one with your puppy from Desert Kennels. I can help you with size.
2. Paper towels and trash bags so you can change the bedding or clean up accidents in the car.
3. Your puppy will have a collar and leash that fits to go home with. But your puppy will not know how to walk on a leash yet.
4. A food and water dish.
5. Prevent theft !! If you have to leave your pup in your vehicle while you go in a store: (consider if you can carry it in with you)
A. Check the temperature and if you can park in the shade, inside your it can be a fatal temperature in less than five minutes in the summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
B. Put the pup in it's travel crate and cover or position the crate so no one can see your pup and steal it.
C. LOCK YOUR CAR- passers by may hear your puppy whine or bark and try to "save it."
